What is your delivery area? We deliver to the entire Western Suburbs of Chicago. DuPage, Kendall, Kane, Will, and Lake counties are covered. Give us a call we can most likely be there.
What is included in each Birth Announcement display? A 7' Stork with a Blue or Pink baby bundle, a personalized keepsake baby bundle including the baby's first and middle name, weight, length, arrival date, and a welcome home banner on the front door. Additional items such as sibling signs are available (please see display prices page).
When do you deliver and pick up the displays? We usually deliver Birth Announcement displays between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm on the night BEFORE mom and baby come home. We will pick up the display around the same time on the last night of the rental period. Surprise/Birthday rentals are usually set up between 5:00 am – 7:00 am and removed after 8:00 pm.
Do I need to make a reservation? In order to ensure a preferred display, a reservation is highly recommended. Payment is required to hold all reservations. For a new baby stork display we will be glad to hold a reservation for 2 days prior to and following the baby’s due date. Personalization info can be given after the baby is delivered.
Do you offer same day "RUSH" service? We would like to have 24 hours notice prior to starting a rental period, but "RUSH" service is available starting at $30.00.
Does anyone have to be home during delivery or set-up of the display? No, no one needs to be home during delivery, set-up or removal of the display. We will leave a card on the front door letting the person know who the gift was from (unless you want to remain anonymous). Wood displays are set-up using a metal post that is driven into the ground to support the sign. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO AVOID SPRINKER SYSTEMS, HOWEVER, WE CANNOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR DAMAGES TO SPRINKLERS OR UNDERGROUND UTILITIES.
What if I want to move the sign? DO NOT attempt to move the sign yourself. Call our office and we will be glad to move it for you. A fee may be included each time we move the display. WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO PROPERTY AS A RESULT OF MOVING THE SIGN.
Can I mow or water my lawn? Please refrain from mowing or trimming near our displays as this may cause damage to them and a charge against the renter’s credit card. Watering is perfectly fine.
Where do you leave the keepsake after removing the sign? When your Birth Announcement display sign is removed, the keepsake will be left at the front door. We do not ring the doorbell or knock in case mom and baby are resting. If you would like it left in a different location please let us know.
Do you deliver in all types of weather? We deliver in MOST weather conditions. However, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the delivery during severe weather if we feel it is not safe to do so. We will contact your to reschedule or refund the rental fee if the delivery is delayed or canceled.
What form of payment do you accept? We accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Paypal.
What happens if the display is stolen, broken, or damaged in any way? Please contact us immediately. If any part of the display is stolen or damaged it is the responsibility of the party who ordered the rental to replace it. Also, please resist the urge to keep part of the display as a memento as this will also result in a charge to the renter.
